Ace's Live Music

Dear Loyal Patrons and Music Lovers:
Ace's Live has temporarily closed! It has permanently closed "The Barn" at it's current location. The building and land has been sold to another company and it will no longer be used as a music venue, restaurant or bar. The Ace's Live team has been in negotiations to relocate the bar, restaurant and music venue to a new location in the Bradenton area. We had hoped that the relocation deal would have been completed by the time of the land sale. However, more time is needed. Upon re-opening, Ace's Live will continue to be the leader in live music with a full liquor bar and kitchen, hosting the very best in national bands on a regular basis, along with great local talent. Please check back to this website and our Facebook page for further details on our future location. Thank you again to all of you for your tremendous support over the past 15 years and we'll see you soon!

Mixed Culture was formed in 2005 when vocalist Francisco and then guitarist Trevor met with Bruno and Anthony to form with Eddie Culture, a reggae group. Their love for reggae music and musical talents brought them together and in a matter of weeks were in the midst of rehearsing and creating the distinct sound. The departure of Trevor from the group and the addition of bassist Sebastian and Omar on the keyboard gave a breath of new life to the fledgling Mixed Culture. After enduring an almost fatal accident coming back from a show in Naples, things seemed bleaked but ultimately brought these young lions closer together. Shortly after the departure of Omar and Eddie, Andres was introduced into the key position. Years of hard work and dedication and with the introduction of Jose on drums and Tony on trumpet, it has really rounded out the sound of Mixed Culture. Mixed Culture has become South Florida’s best roots reggae bands  and the premiere roots reggae band in America.
