  • Chef Mike Passes Away
All of us at Ace’s Live are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our Chef, Mike Konopka. Although Chef Mike was only with us for just under half of a year, he made his mark on Ace’s and the people he touched.
Originally from Philadelphia, Mike has been in the Bradenton area for the past 20 plus years, leading various restaurant operations. We were thrilled when he agreed to come to Ace’s to head our restaurant.
Mike is survived by his father Tom, his siblings Tom, Cheryl and Vincent, and nieces Emily, Cheryl Ann and Cathleen, as well as his pet and good companion Miss Daisy. He was passionate about cooking, live music and his good friends. Mike was 56 and we will all miss him.
